• If I know I’m going to need a more full service approach, can I just skip to Phase 2?

No, we still need to go through the introductory consultation phase, where we get to know your project and discuss preliminary ideas and focus on finding your style and overall aesthetic to focus on.

• What do I need to do to prepare for the consultation?

We ask that there are as few distractions as possible. Phone calls and other distractions will cut into our valuable 2 hour session. It is also important that all people who want to have input on the design are present during the consultation and that you’re on the same page.

• If I sign up for your service that 'helps me get market ready’, will my house sell?

DeMas Design doesn’t make any promises when it comes to home sales or sale price. We are here to make suggestions on how you could improve your home’s appeal to prospective buyers.

• Will you work with our contractor or trades? Do you purchase materials for remodels?

Meeting with your contractor or trades must be done in the clients’ presence. We can meet with you and your trades on site or at supply stores to help convey the plan, layout, and materials. However we don’t do any project management. You will working with your trades and contractors independently from DeMas Design. We’re here to help guide you on design choices-we do not get involved with the purchases and installs.

• Do you place the orders?

You are free to purchase items on your own. If you would like the full service treatment of DeMas Design placing the orders and following up with them, we will bill for time involved with checking on deliveries, working on solutions between the retailer and client if there are damages/shipping delays/backorders or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Do you get discounts? If so, do you pass them on to the client? Do you mark up the product?

There are no markups, however discounts are not passed on to the clients and pay regular retail price. We aren’t affiliated with any particular companies or push the client to purchase from one company over another. We look at what’s in your best interest in terms of working with your budget, style, function and availability.  

• Do you have trades you work with?  

Not directly. We can suggest trades we’ve had good experiences with, but we are not affiliated with any of them or work with them directly. We take no responsibility for any trades you chose to hire.

• Are you insured?

Yes, DeMas Design LLC is insured

• I want to remodel my kitchen and bathroom, and need help with figuring out a color scheme and choosing all the components. Is that something you do?
